Irish Summer 2012…What we did
Running a B&B or just been in the tourist business does limit a person and their family on getting away or doing activities over the summer months, our family agreed 2012 was a great summer….so what did we do!!!!! Well we did lots of days out to the beach at Bundoran and Rossnowlagh in Donegal, went to Mayo did a bit of surfing, climbed Croagh Patrick , then spent the Halloween break exploring the Boyne Valley in Meath and Carlingford Town in Louth. All in all a bit of something for everyone in the family.

Bawnboy Looped Walk, Co. Cavan
Bawnboy Looped Walk, Co Cavan is now officially open, this walk can be easily found between Brackly Lake and Bawnboy Village on the N87. The signed walk is about 5km in length, takes about 1hr-to 1.5hrs to walk and is of moderate difficulty, car parking is provided. As you go higher up on this walk there is beautiful views back down over Bawnboy Village, Brackly Lake and the Cavan countryside.

Farm Harness: The Craft Of The Harness Maker
